We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through our ordinary home improvement forms beyond information reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes. If our practices change, we will update our disclosures as required by law.

5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Makeen operates a lead generation business and may receive compensation in connection with delivering consumer inquiries to home improvement providers.

Depending on the circumstances, disclosing personal information to providers may constitute a “sale” under the CCPA/CPRA. Disclosing identifiers or online activity to advertising partners may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Whether a particular disclosure constitutes a sale or sharing depends on the facts, the parties' roles, the purposes of the disclosure, and applicable legal exceptions.

We do not represent that every disclosure is a sale or sharing under California law.

Your Right to Opt Out

Eligible California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information, where applicable.

To exercise this right:

  • Email info@makeengroup.com with the subject line “California Opt-Out Request.”
  • We will provide an effective opt-out mechanism as required by law and honor qualifying opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where legally required.

An opt-out will apply to the processing covered by the request and applicable law. It does not prohibit disclosures that are legally permitted and not subject to the opt-out right.
